Marionette lines are the lines from the corner of the mouth down to the jawline. They tend to appear in form the age of 40+
Dermal filler can be used to treat these lines. As Doctors we tend to use a slightly thicker dermal filler in this area as it can give long-lasting lifting effects
Cityskin cosmetic clinic is run by Dr Jonathan Brown and offers anti-wrinkle injections and dermal filler treatments visit www.cityskin.com.au for more details

Do dermal fillers hurt?
The most commonly asked question that I get asked as a Doctor when performing dermal filler treatments is 'does it hurt'. A recent audit of patients having treatment at the clinic shows that the average discomfort was rated as '2/10' on a pain scale (0 being no pain, 10 being extremely painful).
Recent advances have meant that the dermal filler comes mixed with lignocaine, a local anaesthetic, which greatly minimises discomfort.
At the clinic we use the cannula technique rather than needles to perform dermal filler treatment. Once under the skin the cannula is effectively painless
